What a Wild Ride February Has Been!

If you've visited Disney World this February, you know it's been anything but ordinary! We've experienced everything from packed parks to an unexpected cold front that had us all reaching for our jackets, hats and even scarfs.

February crowds have been a mixed bag this year. Some days the parks have been bustling with families enjoying Presidents' Day week and extended winter breaks, while other days, mainly the evenings (due to cold) have offered that rare "walk-on" magic we all dream about. If you're planning a visit, flexibility is your friend!

The Great Florida Freeze

But the real surprise? A crazy cold front that swept through Central Florida! We're talking frost warnings and Disney's horticulture teams working overnight to protect the beautiful landscaping with white blankets covering plants throughout the parks. It's not every day you see the white frost blankets coming out to protect the flowers at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

For families renting strollers during this unusual weather, we've been recommending bringing extra blankets and layers for the little ones. Those morning rope drops have been really chilly!
